Units March in St. Patrick’s Day Parade

On Saturday, March 19, 2022, Patriots’ Path Council participated in the Morris County St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Morristown. Four troops and five packs participated, totaling about 100 Scouts and families. The weather was great, and everyone enjoyed the pipe bands, the Irish dancers and the firetrucks! Cub Scouts Look to the Stars During Program

On Friday, March 18, 2022, about 60 Cub Scouts and their families participated in an evening star gazing event at Camp Somers at Mount Allamuchy Scout Reservation. New Merit Badge Required for Eagle After June 30

Beginning July 1, 2022, the Citizenship in Society merit badge will be required for any youth seeking to achieve the Eagle Scout rank. Any Scout who has not completed all rank requirements for Eagle, including Scoutmaster conference, by June 30, 2022, will be required to earn the Citizenship in Society badge to earn Scouting’s highest rank.

Registration Open For Skylands Scouts BSA Camporee

The Skylands District Scouts BSA Spring Camporee will take place at Winnebago Scout Reservation, Friday, April 22 through Sunday, April 24, 2022. Klondike Derbies Cross the Finish Line

Scouts from Patriots’ Path Council made good use of this winter season. PPC held eight different Klondike Derby events, with 1,266 Scouts and 438 adults participating. Scouts Share Helpful Tips on Merit Badges

The national BSA organization is implementing a way that Scouts can upload “HELPFULS” via the Scouting app. Scouts can share online websites, videos, etc., with other Scouts that are specific to merit badge requirements.
