August 2023 NYLT – Registration Extended

Registration for the August National Youth Leadership Training course will soon close!

We have extended registration and waived the late fee until July 21, 2023.

NYLT is open to Scouts, Venturers and Sea Scouts 13-20 years of age. This is a weeklong training course that teaches skills to make your Crew, Ship or Troop better.

Youth who attend come back with a better understanding of the BSA E.D.G.E. Method. That modeling of the E.D.G.E Method gets passed to all the youth as it is utilized more and more at the unit level.

They also get to be with other Scouts and Venturers from all across the council (and beyond). They hear what other Scout’s experiencea are like, as well as building lifelong friendships.

2023 Report to the State of New Jersey

On May 22, 2023, Patriots’ Path Council led the 2023 Report to the State of New Jersey where a delegation of Scouts representing the 7 councils that serve New Jersey reported to our state lawmakers.

Patriots’ Path Council Eagle Scout, past Woapalanne Lodge Chief and current Section Chief Mike Fowler led the delegation and served as MC for the day.

This is the first Report to the State since 2007 and we are grateful to the following individuals for making it possible; Senator Steven V. Oroho who served as our sponsor, Senate President Nicholas P. Scutari (Eagle Scout) who welcomed our delegation, and Jay Redd (Eagle Scout), Managing Director of Stono Public Affairs and Patriots’ Path Council Nominating Committee member who coordinated the day.

It was a great day for Scouting and we are all impressed with how welcomed Scouting was in Trenton.
