Adams Award Recipient Announced

Congratulations to Charlotte Pennington from Troop 1150 in Sparta who was selected as PPC’s Glenn and Melinda Adams Service Project of the Year recipient. The Adams Awards was created to recognize valuable service of an exceptional nature by a Scout to a religious institution, a school, a community, or another entity while doing his or her Eagle Scout service project. Her project has been submitted to the National Eagle Scout Association?for National Service Territory consideration.

Charlotte created and organized Prepare and Play Soccer Clinic as her Eagle Scout Project after she tore her ACL during a soccer game. She combined her love of soccer and interest in sports injury prevention by developing a soccer skill development and injury prevention clinic to share with others in the community.
