National Jamboree Last Chance to Register

Warning!!!  The 2023 Jamboree is reaching its capacity at the National level.  This is likely the last chance to secure your Scout’s spot for the National Jamboree at Summit Bechtel High Adventure Base in West Virginia before National registrations close.  Our contingent has about 10 spots left!  Any Scout that misses this great opportunity during July 18-28, 2023 will have to wait until the next National Jamboree which is likely scheduled for 2027.

Already signed up?  Spread the word!

To do list:

  1. Get registered! (https://ppcbsa.org/2023jambo/)
  2. Spread the word.

  • MUST be at least 12 years of age by the first day of the Jamboree but has not reached his or her 21st birthday by the last day of the Jamboree.  (One-time exception for ages 18-20 is due to the postponement of the 2021 National Jamboree.)

Saint Patrick’s Day Parade

Patriots’ Path Council will be marching in the annual Morris County St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Morristown on March 11, 2023 at 12:00 noon.  PPC has marched in the parade for many years, and we are hoping for another large turnout for the parade.  We will be marching together as a single contingent.

Register your unit at the Council calendar for March 11th or go to https://scoutingevent.com/358-Parade.

A few reminders.  This is a uniform event so proudly wear your Scout colors.  Be at the assembly area behind the Morristown Municipal Building 200 South Street, by 11:00.  It is always fun to listen to the bands warming up, admire the dresses of the Irish dancers, and check out the fire trucks, ambulances, etc.  The parade will end at Morristown High on Atno Avenue so make sure your parents are aware of the pickup location.

Questions should be addressed to Mike Loughman at 973-714-7308 or [email protected].
