Flintlocks Support PPC’s Toys for Tots Program

Every year, the Flintlocks enthusiastically support the Patriots’ Path Council’s Toys for Tots program. The new toys are collected at the Flintlock Building at Camp Winnebago in Rockaway, New Jersey, and then Flintlocks President John Koneski delivers them to the council office.

The photo at left shows 12 of the 27 Flintlocks in disguise wearing their masks. The group was shut down for six months during the spring and summer COVID-19 shutdown, then worked a few weeks, but will stay closed through the holidays until the second wave is abated.

The Flintlocks are retired Scouter volunteers who provide services to help maintain the camps and build new structures. Members also volunteer at many of the council programs.

Pictured from left in the photo are Ted Marquardt, Bob Pysher, Jeff Huppert, Michael Hart, John Kazazis, Joe Schott, Frank Wallace (with hand up), George Van Dyke, Bill Debiec, Russ Jenkins, and Ron Jaremcak. John Koneski, Flintlocks president, is taking the photo.
