2018 RE-CHARTER SEASON IS ALMOST UPON US

September 1, 2017: The unit leader and committee chairperson will receive the re-charter email. Much like last year, this email will include the unique access code and links to all the information needed to re-charter your unit for 2018.

*****Note: LAST YEAR’S CODE WILL NOT WORK THIS YEAR*****

The September 1st email will also include information about checking your adult leaders’ Youth Protection status. This YPT flyer was also included in the information packet handed out at the district tables, at the Tradeshow of Scouting, this past June. Please review those instructions if you haven’t already done so. Youth Protection training is valid for 2 years and must be updated. Any adult whose Youth Protection expires as of December 31, 2017, may be dropped from your roster to post the charter.

October 1, 2017: The Internet re-chartering website becomes active. Once live, you’ll be able to access your online re-charter using the link and the unique access code, both supplied in the email mentioned above. Remember, everyone logging in for the first time this season is logging in as a ‘First Time User’, regardless of whether or not you were the re-charter contact last year.

As always, if you have any questions or need any assistance, please reach out to your unit or district commissioners. You may also contact the council at 973-765-9322, to speak with your district executive.
