Liberty Jamboree Media Patrol Application Deadline Extended!

The application deadline for the Jamboree Media Patrol has been extended until further notice to allow for those youth who were away this summer more time to apply.

Skills are needed from all BSA youth to help create the first media patrol in Patriots’ Path Council!  If you plan to attend the Liberty Jamboree, consider joining the Media Patrol – an elite group of Scouts who will put their communications skills to work at the Jamboree, reporting on all the activities, and working directly with real-life journalists and news crews.

A special training for the selected members will be held prior to the Liberty Jamboree so Scouts can enhance their skills, build new ones, and be prepared to do the unthinkable at this exciting event!

More information and an application can be found at: www.libertyjamboree.ppbsa.org/mediapatrol/mp.htm

Also, check out our current social media outlets including out new mobile app!

Leader and Parent Cub Family Camping Handbook

We encourage all adults attending to have current Youth Protection training.

All packs should be prepared to deliver a skit or song for the camp fire on Saturday night.

Camp policy requires rosters at check in. Be sure individuals checking in have 3 copies of the roster.

Lunch meals are purchased during the registration process and included in the event fee. You cannot purchase lunch at camporee. But … for those that want a little more to eat at lunch, there will be a limited supply of hot dogs, hamburgers and veggie burgers, snacks and drinks to purchase. Of course, you will still be able to make meals at your campsite or bring your own food.
