Den Chief Training

Registration for the August 30 Den Chief Training class is now open at

https://scoutingevent.com/?OrgKey=BSA358&eventID=3953

A Boy Scout who serves as a Den Chief not only helps Cub Scouts have fun as he provides a valuable resource for Den Leaders, those working toward the ranks of Star, Life, or Eagle can also meet the Position of Responsibility requirement for their next rank.

Furthermore, as trained Den Chiefs, Boy Scouts are one of the best helpers around for Wolf, Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light Den Leaders, as they help with activities, advancement, ceremonies, crafts, and other Den events.  More information about Den Chiefs is available on the Den Chief Training Page (http://training.ppbsa.org/youth/denchief/).

Finally, Den Leaders should take a look at http://training.ppbsa.org/youth/denchief/WorkingWithADenChief.ppt to see for yourselves how a Den Chief can help you deliver the Cub Scout program.
