Zip Lines Planned for 2015 Liberty Jamboree

zipline

That’s right! Like to zip line?  Be one of the first to zip line through Liberty State Park at the 2015 Liberty Jamboree.

More than 5 zip lines will be set up for Boy Scouts, Venturers, and Explorers at the Patirots’ Path Council 2015 Liberty Jamboree held on October 2-4 at Liberty State Park in Jersey City.

Don’t want to wait in line?  Why not get a fast pass?  Fast passes will be given to units that participate in the Liberty State Park service project program to benefit the park, Scouts and units attending the Jamboree.

Other jamboree activities include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics), kayaking, buckskin games, climbing walls, backwoods engineering activities, monkey bridge, slack rope obstacle course, robotics, skill trades, target paintball, arena show, outdoor challenges, high adventure, and live entertainment.

SO, ARE YOU IN?  Make sure your unit saves a site!  Site reservations and registrations will be offered to Patriots’ Path Council units first. Out of council units may submit a “save a site” reservation at any time and will be placed on a waiting list. On April 15, 2015 each out of council unit on the waiting list will be contacted stating how many slots they will receive to attend the Liberty Jamboree. In the event that there are no remaining slots the Jamboree Committee will return the $100 deposit. Again, this is on a first come, first served basis.
