Hitch up the wagons we are on our way to New Mexico . Plans are in place for super surprises. We will visit Acoma the Sky City,  Old Town Albuquerque, Sandia Mountain Tram, Old Miming Town of Madrid, , Turquoise Trail, Santa Fe’s Museum Hill, Los Alamos, the Enchanted Circle and much more. There will be plenty of time to explore the sights and sounds on your own. But best of all you will have two full days to enjoy and explore spectacular Philmont and its Magic Mountains in the fall.

You will ride along the Enchanted Circle and through Cimarron Canyon where the great train wreck in the Lone Ranger movie was filmed. We are planning a super professional seminar on the 200th anniversary of the Santa Fe Trail. Our guide David Werhane, Director of Philmont Museums, will emphasize the historic preparation going on at Philmont and especially at Rayado. Rayado, a National Historic Place, will become an American treasure and a center piece of the soon to be Philmont Educational Center.

You will be among the first to visit Philmont’s spectacular 2013 addition, the Chase Ranch. From your school days do you remember Governor Lew Wallace and Ben-Hur? Well some of Ben-Hur was written in the Chase Ranch House. Maybe a short walk on the new 12 mile hiking and biking pathway along the Santa Fe Trail from Cimarron to Rayado will get you in the mood for some wonderful western history.
